Welcome to Tulip Garden School

At Tulip Garden School, we believe in nurturing young minds through a blend of creative expression, nature exploration, and academic learning. Our approach to education emphasizes holistic growth, where children from Nursery to Primary (Nursery to Grade 5) are guided by their curiosity, imagination, and a deep connection to the world around them.

From their first step into our beautiful campus, children embark on a journey of discovery. Surrounded by gardens, trees, and fresh air, they start each day with a nature walk, collecting twigs, leaves, and other treasures to engage in hands-on art and craft activities like twig collages. This connection to the earth grounds their learning experiences throughout the day.

Holistic Learning: Beyond the Classroom

At Tulip Garden School, learning goes beyond the traditional classroom setup. We focus on nurturing intellectual, emotional, and physical development by blending academics with hands-on, practical skills and nature-based activities.

Students start their day with nature walks, observing plants, animals, and natural elements. These nature explorations inspire the day’s creative activities, such as collage making from collected twigs and leaves, fostering artistic expression. Circle time follows, where children engage in breathing exercises, yoga, affirmations, and eurhythmy movements. This helps students center themselves, develop coordination, and build a positive mindset for the day ahead.

Academic Excellence with Experiential Learning

We firmly believe that academics should be deeply connected to practical experiences. Tulip Garden School delivers a rigorous academic curriculum aligned with national standards but taught through a creative, hands-on approach. Core subjects such as Math, Language, and Environmental Studies are integrated with activities that stimulate a child’s imagination and understanding of the world.

As children move into Grades 3 to 5, they are introduced to practical skills that extend academic learning. Our carpentry classes, for example, allow children to apply geometry and measurement as they carve spoons from logs or build their own wooden wall clocks. These activities develop fine motor skills while connecting mathematical theory to tangible outcomes.
